What’s next?
This week, I finish my Statistics course in my doctorate program. Surprisingly, the course wasn’t as difficult as I anticipated, and after finishing this final assignment, I’ll be on break, technically.
I’ve looked at jobs for learner analytics – mostly database management/reporting – and almost all want someone with SQL experience, so because it’s not offered in my doctorate program, I’m using my 3-week break to take an intro to SQL with Stanford via edX. It is disappointing to not get a true break, but I think it will be worth it in the end. After SQL and Relationship Databases, what else do you think I should take?
I’m looking at a more advanced course in Python (I have elementary skills), R, Matlab, and possibly other programming languages?
